PRE-UNIVERSITY COURSE

Foreign students who would like to do their Bachelor's, Master's or Postgraduate Degree in Russia are provided with a one-year course designed to prepare them for direct entry into Ryazan Radio Engineering University's wide range of degree studies.

Pre-university course program provides undergraduate students with essential academic skills. It includes:

• Intense Socializing and Context-Specific Adaptation;
• Sightseeing of our country;
• General Russian and Russian for Specific Purposes;
• Special Subjects.

The curriculum is dedicated primarily to Russian. Other subjects are selected by the University and are within the following areas of specialty according to the Russian Educational Branch Standard:

I. Technical Core Units: (Russian, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Adaptation course, Civilization of the Russian Federation, Culture of Russia and Ryazan Region).

II. Natural Science Core Units: (Russian, Mathematics, Physics, Сhemistry, Adaptation course, Civilization of the Russian Federation, Culture of Russia and Ryazan Region).

III. Economic Core Units: (Russian, Mathematics, Social Studies, History, Adaptation course, Civilization of the Russian Federation, Culture of Russia and Ryazan Region).

IV. Medical and Biological Core Units: (Russian, Biology, Physics, Сhemistry, Culture of Russia and Ryazan Region).

V. Humanities Core Units: (Russian, Literature, Social Studies, History, Culture of Russia and Ryazan Region).

Upon successful completion of the preparation course undergraduate students are awarded a Certificate which is required for admission to the University.

The course period: September – August (12 months).

The academic period: October – June (9 months).

The prospect students should arrive BEFOREHAND!!!

Assessment:

I. Test of Russian as a Foreign Language (Vocabulary, Grammar, Phonetics, Spelling, Reading, Writing, Listening, Speaking).

II. Subjects Exams according to the areas of specialty.

The academic fee: 130 000 rubles
